Meditation-Stress Management Technique

Self reflection is healthy, being able to achieve deep relaxation is vital to stress relief. Quieting your mind is a stress management technique in several religions like Buddhism, Hinduism, Confusionism, and Taoism. The practice teaches you ways to relax on a deeper level. 

  1. Sit in a quiet place and close your eyes.
  2. Relax all of your muscles.
  3. Breathe slowly but naturally. With each exhale focus o a different part of the body, think to yourself relax.

Try this twice a day for 15 minutes.

When done, sit quietly with eyes closed. Open your eyes and stand up slowly.

  1. I will have to try this out one day. Normally I turn to stuffing chocolate in my face, which isn’t the healthiest.
